@AileenMcHarg More interestingly - if it was everything why didn’t you apply? You are obviously both good and ambitious ( nobody gets to your position without both). It is easy to look at the money. But from the minute they hit the ground will be expected to bill £450k a year.
@AileenMcHarg If they don’t have an interest in commercial law they are unlikely to last very long. It is a bit like playing in the EPL - everyone thinks they could but very few are prepared to sacrifice everything, leisure, family life, any sense of proportion for ( a lot) of money

@EDCouncil Nothing is more off putting than a heavy handed enforcement visit, particularly where this is in addition to normal levels of enforcement. Who on earth thought this was a good idea?
@EDCouncil What is the rationale behind this? Licensed businesses are still trying hard to recover from the pandemic. Our town centres are much quieter than they used to be. Christmas is a chance to welcome casual customers and to encourage them to come back.
Whilst we would say it we think having a solicitor is vital. If you are looking to buy or sell in the local area ( and also further afield) then speak to Aileen McInnes.
