Residents of Nakawuka in Wakiso District have raised concerns over the alleged theft of fuel meant for the contractor upgrading the Shs340.5 billion Kisubi-Nakawuka-Nateete-Kasanje-Mpigi road network.

Works and Transport Minister Fred Byamukama has pledged to work with local leaders and security to identify and arrest the suspects. The concerns were raised during an ongoing monitoring exercise to establish the causes of delays on the 72.5-kilometre road project.
