Children , Kibaki's first Finance Minister David Mwiraria announced that financial year 2003/2004 , Kenya had an excess of budget. There was no need to borrow and every government expenditure was well funded. Good old days.
This morning in Kabarnet town, a little girl named Nancy Kapanat flagged down our convoy.
We stopped.
She walked up and handed me a portrait that she and her friends had made together.
A portrait of their President.
I was speechless.
If you ever wonder why I am in this race, look at Nancy's face.
Look at what these children believe is still possible for Kenya. Their faith is not a burden I carry lightly. It is the very reason I will not stop.
The work to Reset, Restore and Rebuild this country has never felt more urgent, or more real, than it did at that moment on a roadside in Kabarnet.
Ukombozi is not a slogan. For Nancy and her generation, it is the only acceptable future.

I’m an introvert. I honestly look forward to the weekend just so I can stay home again. I’ll be in my comfy clothes, wrapped up in cozy blankets, watching TV, eating my favorite snacks, and enjoying the peace and quiet
Dating a lady with a child is not for weak boys.
I remember this one time I dated this lady because I was convinced that being a stepfather isn't bad. Yoh! That kid didn't feel me at all. He would just stand and look at me without saying anything. I thought maybe he was still getting used to me. He will defrost as time goes on.
4 months later, the kid is still quiet. Even when we are eating, he would come and stand in front of me, then bite my drumstick, start chewing while looking at me. It was like an old person in the kids' body.
This one time, his mother left me with him and went to the shops. I was waiting by the door just in case he decided to do some funny stuff. I kept throwing him snacks, but I was ready to call his mother and put her on loudspeaker if he started crying so she could reprimand him.
One night, I woke up as I wanted to go and pee. The lights in the passage were off. I found that kid standing right there in the dark looking at me, shuuu!! I started praying “Rhaa fire in the name Jesus, in Jesus' name go away bad spirits”, his mother woke up and said, “Noo stop shouting at the child”. I looked at her and told her that the kid is possessed. That made her angry, so I decided to go sleep on the couch. In the AMs I heard something breathing heavy, even a cow couldn't match that breathing. When I opened my eyes it's that kid standing on top of the coffee table eating a Banana looking at me, but why? I went to the kitchen fast, got rough salt. It was time to tackle it the African, I started pouring him with that salt while I kept saying “Satan uhambe wrong namhlanje, phuma kum”. Meaning satan not today, leave me alone.
The mother woke up and chased me away, I took my stuff and left, it was 3am. Now I only date ladies without kids. 😭😭
"You can be authentic and hardworking and still struggle to find your footing if you’re in the wrong environment.
•A fun person trapped in the wrong city.
•A loving partner in a relationship that won’t reciprocate.
•A great entrepreneur stuck in the wrong business.
Think about your placement as much as your performance. Plant yourself where you can thrive."

@StanleyMasinde_ Tilisi is in the border of Tigoni Limuru and Sigona hence the name Tilisi. Nice place but the houses especially the apartments are small.
