भारत में चार ऐसे मुसलमान जेल में बंद या ज़मानत पर बाहर हैं जिन्होंने नौजवानों के बेहतर मुस्तक़बिल और उन्हें बेहतर से बेहतर तालीम देने के लिए यूनिवर्सिटी बनवाई है,

- उत्तर प्रदेश के ज़िला रामपुर में 2006 में आज़म ख़ान साहब ने (मौलाना मोहम्मद अली जौहर युनिवर्सिटी) की बुनियाद रखी थी आज आज़म ख़ान जेल में हैं

- मेघालय के ज़िला रिभोई में 2011 में महबूब-उल-हक़ साहब ने (यूनिवर्सिटी ऑफ़ साइंस एंड टेक्नोलॉजी मेघालय (USTM) की बुनियाद रखी थी अभी वो ज़मानत पर बाहर हैं

- हरियाणा के ज़िला फरीदाबाद में 1997 में जावेद अहमद सिद्दीक़ी साहब ने "अल फ़लाह यूनिवर्सिटी" की बुनियाद रखी थी अभी वो जेल में बंद हैं

- उत्तर प्रदेश के ज़िला सहारनपुर में 2011 में हाजी मोहम्मद इक़बाल साहब ने "द ग्लोकल युनिवर्सिटी सहारनपुर" की बुनियाद रखी थी अभी ज़मानत पर बाहर या फ़रार हैं?

फिर मुसलमानों से कहा जाता है वो पढ़ते नहीं हैं

at the board it's simple. Kahneman split the mind in two. System 1 is fast, automatic and sure of itself. System 2 is slow, effortful, and the only part that actually computes the odds. the catch is that System 1 answers first and System 2 is lazy, so you act on a feeling and build the reasons afterward. the casino and the market are timed to catch you in that first second. that's the whole "instinct edge", minus the marketing.

Kahneman worked this out over fifty years and put it in one book in 2011. it has been public ever since. same point as my casino piece above: the house wins because your fast mind calls luck skill before your slow mind can check the math.

the science is free and half the world has read the book. what nobody can sell you is the discipline to wake the slow mind up before you click buy. that one pause is the whole edge, and no lecture can force you to take it.

Historic Judgement by Justice Purnendu Singh of the Patna HC. ☺️

So the story is - On Jan 19, 2008, a girl with her father went to Chaya Studio owned by Shri Himanshu Kumar Pathak ji in Amarpur, Bihar for a photograph.

Pathak ji asked her father to remain outside on the pretext that he needed to check the photos on the computer.

He then locked the door from inside and undressed himself.

Pathakji removed her salwar, and forcefully started pressing her chest.

The girl started crying and screaming. Hearing her cries, when her father forced open the door, Pathakji fled.

The Additional Sessions Judge in Banka, Bihar then convicted Pathakji in attempt to r@pe charges.

On this 9 July, the Bench of Justice Purnendu Singh held that attempting to remove a woman’s salwar and pressing her chest does “not unequivocally establish" an attempt to rape and acquitted Shri Himanshu Kumar Pathak ji.

The court said there was no evidence of penetration "even to the slightest extent" to establish attempt to r@pe. ☺️

In a patriarchal society, a woman fought for 18 years. I even cannot imagine the hurdles she faced in her quest for justice and to punish her molester, only to see this day. Can you?

However, according to sources, the judgment has triggered a wave of jubilation among all the existing, potential, and future rapists and molesters in India.
