Authenticity will make you stand out, connect with others, and inspire trust.
Simps lack authenticity.
Fatherhood is not optional. It's essential for the well-being of children, families, and society.
Children need fathers to provide them with protection, guidance, discipline, and role models.
Fathers need children to give them purpose, legacy, responsibility, and joy.
Watched the Super Bowl and thought of how highly-spectated competition is woven into the fabric of our history - ancient Greece Olympics, Roman gladiatorial games, medieval jousting tournaments, Eastern martial arts competitions.
Lesson in there. Survival from safety of sidelines.
Our lives lack the thrill of danger and victory that once defined our ancestors, so now, we replicate these โvictoriesโ artificially, as mindless drones leveling up in front of a screen playing video games. Sad.
Ditch the controller. Lift.
Humanity now stands with heads held high, convinced that our morality has surpassed all that came before us. Ironically, we fail to recognize the shadows of our own shortcomings.
Pride is the enemy of humility and the thief of joy.
Why is simping wrong if the act itself is kind?
It's wrong because of the unequal nature of the investment. The imbalance of effort and sacrifice creates a negative dynamic.
It is not your responsibility to convince someone to love you. Build your own value.

One tweet is capable of sparking the imagination or dulling the mind. One can make neurons fire, igniting a chain reaction of new ideas. Another can numb the mind & contribute to the barrage of meaningless noise.

We engage in suboptimal habits without realizing they're not in line with how humanity has thrived for thousands of years.
For example, we've taken cold baths (with demonstrable health benefits) for thousands of years. Hot showers are very new.
Comfort is not always optimal.
@iamRobONeill@tannerguzy Let's ban the straws, the one item that accounts for 0.03% of plastic waste. But hey, at least we can feel good about ourselves for doing our part by not using a plastic straw.
@Mrpossidez As if birds are so easily satisfied with a mere crumb of baked goods. The audacity to suggest that 1 scone could possibly satiate the hunger of not just 1, but 2 feathered friends is beyond ridiculous. How dare someone imply that these magnificent creatures are so easily pleased.

The comfort-focused provide the necessary counterbalance, offering a sense of security and familiar norms that help to smooth over the rough edges of change. Without this balance, society risks becoming too fragmented.
