No por falta de temas.
No por falta de emergencias.
Sino por falta de compromiso de algunos concejales.

Propuse una ordenanza que sancione el ausentismo con multas económicas…
Sigue en el congelador. Prefieren seguir protegidos, sin consecuencias.

¿Resultado?
Barrios maltratados y una ciudad paralizada por quienes juraron impulsarla.

Quito no merece concejales vagos.
Merece trabajo, presencia y determinación para hacer que las cosas pasen.

I want to share an incredible story about my little 11 year old cousin Liam. There are two autistic kids in Liam’s class that always sit by themselves at lunch. The other day, a couple mean kids at Liam’s table thought it would be funny to invite the autistic kids to sit at their table to make fun of them then kick them out of saying they can’t sit with them. This made one the two boys cry as they went back to their table alone. When Liam saw this, he stood up, grabbed his tray, went and sat down with the two boys as the mean kids continued to make fun of them and Liam for leaving their table. A few seconds later, the rest of the table stood up and followed Liam to go sit at the table with those two boys leaving the mean kids to sit all by themselves. Liam and the rest of the table have been sitting with those two boys everyday at lunch and will do so for the rest of the year.

I could not be more proud of my little cousin Liam for being a leader doing what’s right and having such a big heart. I just wish he would have told the mean boys to “do better” and “mind their own business”!
