I really hope to do an away day to Durham next season, would love for it to be a loud crowd to support an important club in the WSL2 , although of course I hope it goes better than it did last season ๐
The story continues ๐
And we need you behind us for the next chapter.
2026/27 Season Tickets are coming soon, and you can sign-up to be the first to find out when theyโre on sale ๐ https://t.co/RpyUBkmIdO
I'm scared to follow any of the @thepwhlofficial team accounts in case they announce news I'm scared to hear even though I'm checking each page individually for signings
@JackBMontgomery They literally have just stepped in to support the Ceramics industry with ยฃ120 million. Sadly appears to late for Denby though.

Very sad to see each of them go. Last year each of their personalities were key for the club, and their contributions were immense. Charlie also leaves with some of our best songs and clutch moments, from saving us away at Derby last season to Southampton (w/ R. Rowe) away this.
Outstanding contributions while with the Reds, thank you for playing a massive part in our history. ๐๏ฟฝOutstanding contributions while with the Reds, thank you for playing a massive part in our history. ๐๏ฟฝOutstanding contributions while with the Reds, thank you for playing a massive part in our history. ๐๏ฟฝOutstanding contributions while with the Reds, thank you for playing a massive part in our history. ๐๏ฟฝOutstanding contributions while with the Reds, thank you for playing a massive part in our history. ๐๏ฟฝOutstanding contributions while with the Reds, thank you for playing a massive part in our history. ๐๐
@AllanWylieSport Probably a little beyond my expertise (reading rules) but I suspect you're mostly right: it would be unsurprising if journalists had some insight on the conversations which were going on.
My guess is the league will be fairly prompt in publishing approved signings from 5th June
@AllanWylieSport 4th June is when expansion teams submit their negotiating list, including who they want to give their EFO to. The EFO target will be required to accept (with no negotiation required) unless more than one expansion team puts them number 1. This will go on until 8th. Does this help
@AllanWylieSport If I've read it correctly:
28th is when existing teams submit their negotiation lists to the league. They can't speak to anyone until 1st, but expansion teams can't actually sign anyone yet. Current teams can sign expired player they want as one of their 3 to protect. Cont.
@ashgathario been thinking/ worrying about this a little. I only got into the PW this year because it was free & easy to watch; I suspect when it goes paid it may hamper growth.
That being said, I would now pay, the question is just how much given most matches start at midnight for me ๐ข๐ญ
@MakarTruther98 It literally does have filtering (by team) and what on earth have LLMs got to do with it? I suspect you're after a sort not a filter and I also suspect it's possible that's deliberately not there
I think a lot about how the PWHL came about because of passionate people keeping pressure on and finding allies until it could be put together
"Women's Hockey survived because women relentlessly chose something that did not always choose us back" is such a great quote for this
she came back and she should not have had to leave and our sport is better because she returned
whky survived because women relentlessly chose something that did not always choose us back and honestly just thinking about that resilience makes me tear up sometimes
