The chart below shows that Lindy is 100% right.

Statistically, the turnaround in the @BuffaloSabres season started when Dahlin came back from Sweden and Benson and Norris returned from injuries.

It had nothing to do with the change in GM.

In the Eastern Conference Playoffs, 33 of the 39 games were won by the team with the higher xGF.

Only 6 of the 39 games were decided by goaltending.

Goalies get too much credit and blame for outcomes that are typically decided by more important variables.

There isn't enough focus on matchups when evaluating individual player performance and teams.

It is much easier to just discuss goaltending or coaching/GM changes.
