I know our customers and communities across Northwest Florida have been through so much in the wake of Hurricane Isaias. I was there throughout our response and saw firsthand the challenges you’re facing. I’m grateful to our team for the long hours and commitment they’ve shown, including the thousands of men and women from 29 states who supported our restoration.
And I’m impressed by the resilience of our customers and the way people across Northwest Florida have come together to help each other. Thank you for your patience. We know restoring power is just one step in the recovery ahead for many of the communities impacted by Isaias. As Northwest Florida recovers, we’ll continue to be here for you.

Good morning, ShelbeeLauren. We are aware of an issue that may cause projected bills to display inaccurately. This information will improve as we get more readings, and correct itself in approximately 14 days. While the projection may not be accurate right now, your actual bill will be based on your recorded energy usage. Thank you.
Every customer still without power remains our priority. Crews continue working across affected communities to restore power to every customer who can safely receive it.
A cold front moving through the area this weekend is expected to bring strong winds, creating conditions that will impact power lines. As a result, customers in areas affected by Hurricane Isaias may experience weather-related outages.
On location: Brent Lane in Pensacola, Florida
Good afternoon. We’ve restored power to most customers in your area, but we know that doesn’t make it any easier if you’re still without power. Some of the remaining work involves significant tree removal, setting new poles, and repairing neighborhood lines that may restore only a few customers at a time. Our crews are continuing to work around the clock until every customer who can safely receive power is restored. If you’re still without power, please report your outage at https://t.co/gDt2V0FCfK or through the FPL app and continue checking for the latest restoration updates.

We’re committed to restoring every customer who can safely receive power as quickly and safely as possible. Thank you for your patience.

Good afternoon, Larry. Thank you for reporting this. For your safety, please maintain a distance of at least 10 feet from the hazardous situation. Any wire can be carrying power and be dangerous. Do not touch the wire or anything it may be in contact with, including trees, fences, vehicles, or standing water. Keep everyone including pets, and others away from the area. Call 911 and 1-800-4-OUTAGE (1-800-468-8243) to report it.
Up to $2,000 may be available to eligible households for qualifying electrical repairs after Hurricane Isaias. It is something most homeowners never have to think about, but some equipment connected to the home, including the meter enclosure or weatherhead, must be repaired by a licensed electrician before service can be safely restored.
