Mushtaq Khan had once revealed that he got only Rs 1 lakh despite shooting extra days for the film. He said, "When we sign an agreement, we’re told it’s a 20-day or 25-day shoot. Based on that, we decide our payment. But when, after the 25-day shoot is over, they ask for 10 more days, I felt that was not right. The payment wasn’t increased. I’ll tell you the reason. For us, it was fixed that we would do the film for ₹1 lakh, whether it took 20 days or 25 days. But stars like Akshay Kumar's staff worked on a per-day basis. According to IBO Tracking, #AjayDevgn and #JaideepAhlawat's Drishyam: The Conclusion has sold 30K tickets (blocked seats excluded) across Indian National Chains (PVR Inox and Cinepolis), while 4 and a half days are left for the film to release in theaters.

This highly anticipated thriller has already crossed the first 24 hours advance booking of Chhaava (27K tickets sold) and is on its way to beat Saiyaara (32K) and end up recording one of the highest ticket sales for a post-pandemic Bollywood film in the first 24 hours of its advance booking.

This trend is excellent for a thriller drama film, as was expected from this highly anticipated conclusion of the iconic Drishyam franchise.

Meanwhile, the release date of this Akshay Kumar starrer is not locked yet.
