Happy for the Anaheim organization for matching Leo’s contract. 18 million is steep yes but you can’t afford to lose that type of player for 4 late first round picks. That’s the type of deal that haunts a franchise for decades. There was no other option but to match. Respect.
If Anaheim doesn’t match the Flyers offer and you lose Leo Carlsson for 4 late first round picks. You deserve to be fired immediately. Franchise 6’4 first line centers who can fly don’t come around often. Ever. Would hate to be a ducks fan right now.
@AlphaRob96@heatdaddy69420 The only rude encounters people have are when normal good conservative civilians react to the stupidity of liberals being fucken dumb. Canada is the easiest country to tell who’s liberal and who’s conservative cause the liberals are just flat out dumb. No other way to put it.
Happy Canada day to all my Canadian followers and listeners out there. From my experience, Canadian people are seriously some of the coolest and nicest people on this entire planet. Extremely polite, reasonable people. I was in Canada a bunch this past year and I remember being a little bit faded off NyQuil Severe in Montreal while I was on a walk. For some reason, I stopped and took my airpods out and just stood there for like 5 minutes observing everyone. I realized how calm and peaceful everyone was. The demeanor was just different, in a positive way.
That's basically like every canadian person i know personally. They're all cool, carry themselves in a pleasant way. I wonder if it has something to do with the climate up there. How it's cold, and everyone pretty much realizes hey we gotta be on the same team and all get along with each other and make the best of it because it's about to be cold for 9 months again. Let's make this easier on ourselves and have positive attitudes. Let's curl up on the sofa by the fire with a warm blanket that was hand stitched by my grandma before she died on a Disney Cruise (food poisoning) and watch a documentary about somebody who was falsely accused of a murder and had their entire life ruined for no reason. Let's make cookies. We'll dim the lights inside but leave the blinds open so the moonlight shines through, snowflakes falling gently against the window. 4 minutes into the documentary lets maybe get naked because my parents aren't home for another 2 days (i'm 43 years old and this is not my house).
Maybe the entire world needs some bad weather. If the entire world got super cold and we all had to bundle up, we'd be too distracted to end up like people in Scottsdale Arizona where most people I encounter in public are self righteous superficial douchebags with zero substance to them. I dont know, I don't want to generalize an entire city, either. Scottsdale is also a nice place to live and Arizona is a great state. This is a positivity show.
Besides team USA beating a country that barely has running water in soccer, sometimes I feel like in the United states people are only universally cool is when something bad happens. 9/11, harambe being shot directly in the head, Hurricane Katrina, being pissed at asians when congress tricked us into thinking they started covid, etc. It's just madness sometimes.
Anyways, congrats to canada for having great people. Again this is is just my experience with canadian people.
Enjoy your weekend.
If Ovechkin doesn’t sign another NHL he will have retired from the NHL but if he signs another contract he will play in the nhl next season - per @DarrenDreger
@NHLJets Huge signing for the #GoJetsGo what a momentum shift for the entire franchise. Not often is Chevy able to bring in such big talent to pivot the way the organization goes on July 1st. From palm trees to pot holes. Welcome Noah!

@TequilaOperator@NHL_Muse I don’t have to be a smart man to know the market for Trochek wasn’t a hellava lot more at the deadline. Therefore, huge miss for the @NYRangers. Got bent over in this one just like the Panerin deal.
Zach Werenski (An American born hockey player 🇺🇸) does not want to be apart of the moment shift Rick Bowness has in store for Columbus but also does not want the no state tax warm sunny Tuesday evenings in Dallas. Keep and eye on St. Petersburg in the K
@FriedgeHNIC@NHL@khl
Per @heatdaddy69420 Zach Werenski could have been a Dallas Star if he chose to but at the end of the day he chose not to so he in fact is not a Dallas Star
@LeafsPapi_ Marners numbers were also A LOT better but……good deal for the demigod
Marner had 94 after his ELC
Demidog had what 60?
Leafs fan still shitting on a former leaf, no wonder he left town @LeafsPapi_
If Kevin Chevy @NHLJets was smart he would have landed 6’4 RH defenseman Kaedan Korzack. Would have help the right side of the D core a ton. But Chevy is fucken useless as we know. Unfortunate. Big miss for Kevin

@penguins fans just wait until you see Korczak play, won’t take to long to realize Dubas won this trade for you. Pens retaining 50% of Wotherspoon shows that, that’s what it had to take to land Korczak. Kelly is in cap hell and he’s shaking in his boots alittle
