Newly unsealed police body camera footage shows a calm Luigi Mangione interacting with officers who approached him inside a Pennsylvania McDonald’s on December 9, 2024, just days after the fatal shooting of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson.
Officers initially approached Mangione under the guise of responding to concerns that he had been at the restaurant too long, after a caller reported seeing someone who resembled the shooting suspect. Mangione then handed officers a fake ID before he was ultimately taken into custody.
The hours of footage were previously shown in court but had not been released publicly.

Destinos fatales.
