Since the Washington Post story, & the MSNBC feature, a lot of new folks here. So, I felt inclined to share:
I didn’t know it was rare for a man to speak out about Reproductive Rights. A few months ago my wife & I lost a baby. She had an incomplete miscarriage. The care she needed, & was denied, was abortion related care. She needed a D&C. She was denied the care she needed because of the cruel & confusing abortion law/ban in Texas.
She was sent home on 3 separate occasions, after visiting multiple hospitals. She desperately needed a D&C. Instead, they decided her condition was not “enough of an emergency”. She bled, profusely, for 4 days, at home, with our dead baby inside of her.
She bled so much, she almost bled to death.
I’m just doing what I thought ANY husband or father would do!
Standing up for, & fighting for, my family.
My wife barely survived.
We also have a 1 year old daughter.
They WILL have the rights they deserve, & I will continue to do everything in my power to keep Donald Trump, JD Vance, & their barbaric anti abortion agenda out of the White House.

@ProjectLincoln From what I’ve been reading, if someone is convicted elsewhere, Florida will leave it to the laws of that state to decide to voting. NY rules seem to hinge on whether there is prison time, so he may well keep his voting rights
