sometimes your strength doesn’t appear until life gives you a reason to use it. you discover a different version of yourself when there’s no easy way out. The strength was always there. The struggle simply revealed it.

Lord Jesus, purify my desires. Take away everything that pulls my heart away from You, and replace it with a deeper hunger for Your presence and Your will. Amen.

The words you repeatedly speak shape the thoughts you repeatedly think. Your mouth can reinforce your fear or strengthen your faith. Choose your words carefully.

Anytime I take my eyes off of Jesus, my life slowly starts becoming worse. My thoughts get louder, my peace gets quieter, and I start trying to carry things I was never meant to carry. Everything changes when I fix my eyes back on Him.

Disappointment is temporary. Don’t make permanent decisions from temporary emotions. Pray, breathe, learn what the moment is teaching you, and keep moving.

Jesus never promised a life without trouble. He promised something better, that trouble would not have the final word. “In this world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.”

We live on unstable ground, which is why our hope cannot be built on circumstances. Build your foundation on Jesus Christ. When everything around you shifts, He remains steady.
