@NorthantsChief Here is the story that the local paper ran about it. They went down and spoke to lots of people and @nat_fahy team helped break down some barriers. Here’s the link; https://t.co/5Ly0wBDAH0
@NorthantsChief Nick. There was a huge horse fair in Nottingham last year. There was uproar in the run up to it, emergency plans put in place, outraged residents..... However, it happened without any issues, was peaceful and lots of local people ended up attending and enjoying it. 1/2
Thank you @WMPolice, we are proud to be served by a police service dedicated to equality, diversity and inclusion and one that is striving to reflect the community it serves.
@Stephen59845260@Citroen@renault_fr@PoliceNationale This is the problem with stereotypes:
30y ago different people from different countries believed that the Germans only drove VW Beetles, the French only 2CVs and all Brits only Minis - as just like were there police cars.
Except for @InspsWMFed, I doubt the UK had police-Minis.
How to tether horses safely - a Redwings Horse Sanctuary film made with Gypsy and Traveller people. More next week! Watch on You Tube and also published in the TT: https://t.co/QC9KjkzQbH

It troubles me for the attitudes of others I encountered during the investigation. It troubles me that the poor family felt they would be judged in an adverse way by those who were at Court for the trial as they were travellers 2/3
@Minceirbeoir That is appalling. I have used travellers for work with no issues and would do so again and we had a site approx 1/2 mile from our house, again no issues. I investigated the tragic murder of an innocent traveller, that case still troubles me. 1/3
@calico_cop Should have mentioned if your Dad specifically requested that the records are not released then this wish will be respected even after death.
@calico_cop 2/2 PO’s are applied for and granted by the court when there is no legal basis for the application or the order. A lot of judges do not know this so orders do still get granted.
