Haulbowline Island is an island in Cork harbour just off Cobh. It is the the main base and headquarters of the Irish Navel Service. It is also said to be the home of the world's first yacht club founded back in 1720.

Another milestone reached this week as demolition has startred on the first of 3 temporary piers on RFK bridge. Work being carried out by Tinnelly Group from Newry in County Down. Here is some shots I got of them in action today.
