Trust & integrity define us. Nicolae found a lost wallet during insulation work, handing it to the thrilled owner right away. His honesty touched us deeply. Next day, a toast celebrated his integrity & our lasting bonds. π₯ #FamilyBusiness
Check out Karolis & Team's recent 'before and after' attic works.
After a comprehensive tidy, their expert installation included and ensured a perfect fit for both the base and top insulation wool layers, adding ultimate comfort for our valued Customer and their Family.
This photo shows an insulated attic panel. If you think your folding attic ladder panel might be a bit thin & thus allowing heat to escape, we offer a great solution. A durable insulated cover, which we supply as part of our comprehensive attic insulation works. #WinterReady
Is the pipe lagging in your attic up to the current code of practice?
The following images (courtesy of SEAI) will assist you in ensuring that you have well-protected pipes, within your attic.

Highlighting the importance of #airtightness for achieving calculated u-values and moisture control. On a 1m square of 140mm thick insulation a 1mm gap in the airtight membrane reduces u-value by 4.8 times! Also reduces water transfer by a factor of 1600.
Whilst identifying heat loss through a single recessed light, our image also picks up the surrounding plasterboards secured with metal fixings. This can lead to moisture spots appearing, in the future.
Many thanks to Peter Fitzsimons of @insulating for his recent sponsorship of training tops for the Senior Mens hurling and football panels

Iβve just finished writing a fascinating paper for the @PassivhausTrust
It establishes that an unregulated little known phenomenon has the potential to cause:
* 10x more heat loss than predicted (so larger bills and CO2 emissions)
* mould
* drafts and discomfort
A π§΅of 10
Attic hatch with no insulation on top and no draught reducing strips around edges, hence mould appearance over time.
Soon to be rectified by our team.

It is good to leave a gap at the eaves of an attic, though sometimes this gap can be too wide. Here, heat warms the ceiling edge.
In Winter, the opposite cold colour.
Our customer has been experiencing ceiling mould.
Soon to be fixed by 'Fitzin' Teams.
