This week, we hosted Prof. Orhan Ozhan in our seminar.
He highlighted how mathematics—through Fourier and Laplace transforms and circuit analysis—plays a vital role in engineering.
Always inspiring to see real problems solved with math!
This week, we had the pleasure of hosting Prof. Dr. Djebbar Bachir and his colleagues from Algeria.
We discussed potential international collaborations in mathematical analysis, applied mathematics, statistics, computer science, and mathematical biology.
🎓 Master’s Thesis Defenses Successfully Completed
On June 26, 2025, three graduate students successfully defended their master's theses:
🔹 Elif Demir – Solvability of Langevin and p-Laplacian Fractional Differential Equation Systems in Tempered Sequence Spaces
🔹 Senanur Benli – Solutions of Fractional Heat and Wave Equations via the Fractional Fourier Transform
🔹 Sünnet Avezov – Investigation of Elliptic Equations in Weighted Grand Lebesgue Spaces
Fresh ideas at this week’s seminar!
✨ Senanur Benli on fractional Fourier transforms
📈 Sünnet Avezov on Orlicz spaces
🔗 Mohammed Al-sharafi on graph theory
Thanks to all for the inspiring talks!
