Imagine being part of NBA history, captured in the crowd of a Jordan, Kobe, LeBron, or VC rookie card.
That's the "Top Shot Zone": the intersection of fandom and collectibles.
Good luck to all collectors hoping to be part of history.

I lost my mother to cancer 18 years ago (fuck that's depressing to type). I think of her everyday. This June, my brother is once again biking 200+ km for @thePMCF. Please consider donating 🙏

@Timwalkonwater2@NBSCpodcast Pro packaging, I appreciate when a seller does this right. The entire process: listing, waiting, potential disputes, and trips to the post office, is so tedious I can’t justify it. Many collectors are the same: we swear we'll sell one day, but the work just isn't worth it.
“@nbatopshot by Dapper Labs is leaning into those moments with two simultaneous releases built around some of the most recognizable plays the league has produced, from Ralph Sampson’s groundbreaking buzzer beater in 1986 to Ray Allen’s corner three that kept a championship season alive.” - @GritDaily

@BilloBank@MangiMi2 I see you are as thoughtful with your words as you are with your money. 🤣
Your "conviction" plays make zero sense when there is no middle market. You've greatly overpaid, and if you're looking for a greater fool to dump on, you'll be waiting your whole life.
Okay I'll bite. This report misdiagnoses a structural vulnerability as a premium feature. A healthy market looks like a funnel: a massive base of active buyers at the floor, tapering up to the high end. Panini is an inverted pyramid resting entirely on a few isolated whales. ⬇️
Record sales mean nothing without a stable base of active buyers to bridge the gap. If a couple of whales decide to walk away, the Panini price ladder collapses entirely. That isn't scarcity. It's a house of cards waiting for a liquidity crisis.
Top Shot actually has this funnel with real bid depth at the floor. Panini relies on artificial fragmentation. When half your volume is locked in 3.5% of transactions, you don't have a market. You have a massive missing middle. ⬇️
@CardAficionado Been here since before Dapper co-invented NFTs. I've seen the ups and downs, and I'm still confident given a long enough time horizon, Top Shot will age better than all of the other "me too" digital collectibles out there that fall short on permanence.
In the absence of Flowty, this is the right decision and a healthy change. I see many comments burying their heads in the sand, thinking an endless $1 floor that doesn't move is a good thing. It's not. Let the free market determine the price.
🛍️NBA Top Shot Marketplace Update
📣 Tomorrow at 12:00 PM ET collectors will be able to list Moments under $1 as well as list Moments over $1 with cents in the pricing (ex: $5.95).
🗒️This will not impact the offer system, offers will remain dollar increments with $1 being the lowest possible offer.
@SkillGameNBA@BilloBank@NBATopShot Not really, TTs in the early days weren't talked about in context of dollars but utility. The first use case for TTs was trading for Locker Room and S1 Reserve Packs.
Innovation is hard. Pioneers take risks, and being early is a gamble. The blockchain is the insurance policy that keeps your assets safe. @NFLALLDAY minting has ended, but the Moments stay yours on-chain. They won't be revoked. This is why on-chain ownership is essential.
