We all descended from the Indo-Europeans and we all share more recent genetics with our European brothers, particularly with Germans (see Saxons), Dutch, Scandinavians, Northern French.

A Pan-European alliance of nations would see Europe become a superpower built on shared genetics and culture, It's more nuanced than just "JOIN EU!"
