I spent the first part of my career in specialist policing and counter-terrorism.
Now I help expert founders build businesses that run without them in every room.
In between I ran a gym, then moved into advising online businesses. Since then I've worked with seven- and eight-figure expert founders in 19+ countries.
The pattern I see most is an expert founder who's brilliant at their craft, running a business that only works while they're in the room.
So everything I share here comes back to one idea I call Life Profit. Growth measured in time, energy, impact and money.
I post three times a day on building a business that gives you your life back, with offers and AI as the tools. And every Wednesday at 1pm UK I run a live workshop.
I recently worked with an expert founder building a 90-day offer.
The first draft had weekly calls, daily check-ins, forms, tracking, the lot.
The thing to consider with any offer is that the more work a client thinks you're giving them, the lower they value it.
So we ran a friction audit on every touchpoint. Weekly call to monthly. 30 minutes to 20. A call to a two-minute voice note.
Experts stack time because it feels like value. Clients feel it as time being taken from them.
Same result, with less friction and more certainty. That's what makes an offer feel valuable.
I ran my first Facebook ad 15 years ago and since then have run and advised on digital marketing for 7 & 8 figure clients across SAAS, ecomm, coaching, education and more.
One of the golden principles is to zig while others zag.
When everyone was running sales call funnels, selling by DM or from an offer doc became the zag.
Now everyone is selling from an offer doc it's the other way round.
People buy from PEOPLE.
The ability to build intimacy at scale is a huge advantage, especially when everyone is using AI.
I spent years working in specialist policing roles in the Met and MoD Police.
High-pressure, high-stakes situations where the ability to prioritise quickly can be the difference between life and death.
The biggest pattern that I see now in successful expert founders is that same ability to prioritise.
Those that struggle get stuck in the tension between thinking "everything is urgent" and "everything is important".
That's what got you here, but it will also keep you here.

I've been lucky to work with hundreds of founders over the past 10 years.
The number one cause of burnout was a refused to recognise the season they were in...
Most markets are cyclical, not linear.
Trying to force a market that buys on seasonality and apply the logic that anything other than up and to the right = failure, is a sure-fire way to burn yourself (and your team) out.
It's like denying that it's autumn while frantically trying to glue leaves back to the trees.
Futile, exhausting and inefficient.
The best founders I work with, recognise this ebb and flow.
They lean into the season they're in.
Sometimes it's growth.
Sometimes it's planting seeds.
Sometimes it's reflection and refinement.
"What I love is that we built things live in the room. I've done so much consulting where I just leave with a to-do list"
A co-founder of a fitness education business I'm working with right now said this to me after kicking off their Growth Sprint.
Because talk is cheap.
It's very easy to talk about what needs to be done.
Which is why the Growth Sprint is heavily focused on implementation.
Audit → 1 Day Intensive → 30-Day Implementation
Because the last thing most expert founders over £500k/yr need is MORE to do.
My role is simple: To identify and fix your bottleneck, amplify what's working and keep you in your zone of genius.
The most productive thing you'll do this week is delete something.
A process. A meeting. A report nobody reads.
Most of what gets done in your business doesn't need to be done.
Stop optimising.
Start eliminating - it's the highest form of leverage.
The simple productivity system I always come back to:
→ 3 High-Leverage Outcomes Per Week
→ 3 Small Outcomes Per Day
→ Monday: Plan
→ Friday: Review
Simple scales.
