@AZionLion@nicksortor Correct, as this resolution lacks the force of the law and these concurrent resolutions are used mainly as I mentioned to express the sense or position of Congress.
@dahp2020 That sense of entitlement was always there. It's built into them during childhood. The middle east spawns this narcissistic behavior, and you can see it almost everywhere.
Unfortunately, there's not a good fix for this. I wrote a whole article recently about this.
Representative Anna Paulina Luna is pressing charges after being assaulted on Capitol Hill on Wednesday. Following a hearing where she questioned Secretary of State Marco Rubio about Code Pink's ties to the CCP, Luna stated the group's DC leader smacked her.
Her staff witnessed the incident and provided statements to law enforcement.
Luna has requested Speaker Mike Johnson to ban the far-left advocacy group from congressional spaces. The confrontation happened after Rubio testified on foreign governments using domestic groups to influence US policy, noting recent Code Pink trips to Cuba to protest the US embargo.
From what I've personally researched, Code pink is being ran by a Chinese intelligence group that has access to classified US Government Information. They've been showing up at high level DC events undetected for years and reporting decisions back to the CCP.
@KentDonahue They didn't support him at all, everyone we individually spoke to that was of Eastern Culture, disavowed everything he stood for and were there protesting against him.
