@MoeStrackson@nenshi You must live in a city. Rural Alberta hospitals have to close their emergency rooms due to no doctors on call ... pretty sad when we have to schedule medical emergencies between 8-4 Monday to Friday. The system is broken.
The Transportation Safety Board of Canada (TSB) is deploying two investigators following a small aircraft accident near Vermillion, AB. The TSB will gather information and assess the occurrence.
#TSBAir released its investigation report (A23W0096) on the August 2023 fatal collision with water at Beaverhill Lake, Alberta.

@PurohitSanjeet@JustinTrudeau And cost more for businesses to change their sales systems ... going to cost way more than the tax amount. Do you honestly believe the retail stores are going to eat that cost? No way!
@DanHuizing@nenshi Agree on the level of pay, however, there is potential for a good paying quality career with McD's ... they need to earn a higher education and invest in their growth. Only then will the doors open. Makes sense to me ... Perfect stepping stone!
Lightweight data recorders (LDRs) can provide vital information about an accident but they are not required on all aircraft. TSB recommendation A18-01 calls on @Transport_gc to mandate LDRs on all aircraft not currently required to carry them: https://t.co/huJr58XiyR
@CoralTimchak@ABDanielleSmith Unfortunately the GOA has substantially decreased funding for our core infrastructure, not increased ... so they do have to go elsewhere to cover their needs. Simple math.
Just like Quebec, Alberta is asserting its constitutional authority. No longer will the federal government get to pit cities against one another in our province with unreasonable conditions.
@Northern_Fred @ABDanielleSmith Merging two systems will not put more money into teachers and books ... the students are still there. It is also protected ... it's the funding of charter schools that should be re-evaluated.
@shermantse19@ABDanielleSmith However, the funding that municipalities receive from the feds is not available from the Province. Hierarchy is irrelevant in this instance.
@CoralTimchak@ABDanielleSmith If the Feds need to stay in their lane, so should she ... dictating what funding a municipality can apply for from the federal government is not allowing that municipality to do their jobs to ensure their communities are sustainable.
I guess I am a 'lefty'. (I do write with my left hand 😉) This piece of work should practice what she preaches and stay in her own lane.

Why is Premier Smith interfering with municipal politics, even though nobody wants these changes?
Because she despises what she feels are the "leftist municipal councils" in Calgary & Edmonton, and wants conservatives in power instead.

@ThatHmmmmm@LukaszukAB ... saying this from the comfort of your own home or the comfy sofa of your $150/hr councillor's office? It appears you have no concept of what they are dealing with on a daily (hourly) basis. Hopefully you don't ever find yourself in their situation.
@andhan04@ryanjespersen A show should be done, but with a spin on the focus. Don't focus on that specific case, but the lack of services and supports available to those most vulnerable and other 'needless' death cases that are bogged down with bureaucracies.
@Bonmister69@CdnPostie4life@ABDanielleSmith The province has given the authority over certain items to municipalities ... that which the GOA is not supposed to interfere with. Partisan politics has no place within municipal bounaries, and as such, they should stay in their lanes (sort of sounds familiar doesn't it?)
