๐งต Introducing Task Scheduling in IntentJS!
You can now schedule recurring tasks right inside your application โ no need to mess with cron jobs or external tools.
Letโs dive in ๐
Scheduler so beautiful, even your cron jobs will fall in love. ๐
Coming soon: Intentโs new scheduling module โ with sugar, spice, and .everyFiveSeconds() of everything nice.
Jobs, commands, or callbacks โ weโve got your ticks covered
This release of Intent is going to be a stepping stone for us into a fully integrated NodeJs ecosystem, where you can build truly full-stack applications
We are so back! Announcing the release for IntentJS v0.1.48! ๐
Few life improvements I added in this release:
- About time we migrated from CJS to ESM, and it's finally here.
- Optimised Type Checking and Transpilation using ts-node, and swc
- A new intentrc.ts configuration file, now you can define default configurations for dev and build servers
- Cleaner imports with partial imports
- When you start a new project with Intent, it's going to be much cleaner
- Some pretty nasty bug fixes and improvements
I am actively trying to bring some positive change using IntentJS in NodeJS community, and if you would like to contribute or give Intent a try for your first project, reach out to me via X or LinkedIn.
PS: I haven't gotten enough time to put some issues on Github, will start doing it this week onwards โ๏ธ
If you like what I am doing, do give Intent a try, give it a โญ on Github (link in the comments).
