@LanguageCrawler I purchased this book and it is teeming with errors: spelling errors, translation errors and grammatical errors. It needs to be overhauled and republished.
@GrammarTable Another book you might enjoy is the one that claims that grammar is different in the UK than in the US, e.g., “He insisted that I went” means one thing in UK and something else in US!
@anglopremier Never mind. I just saw this: "Dependent" is the dominant form in American English for both the noun and adjective, while in British English, "dependant" is more common for the noun.
