In the past year and a half, I went from 180lbs, down to 140, and now I'm up to 155

I also finished this semester with an A in my English course and an A+ in my programming course, gonna be going full time next semester

So excited to be on this new path

@SSBB_Firefly I'm biased because I ended up hating my career as a welder, but if people fit with the culture, trades do seem to be a good way to have stable employment

Also, 100% agree with community colleges. I don't know if Douglas is one but I still saved a ton of money starting there

@Light_of_Zwei @SSBB_Firefly @Len_Ult I think the idea is to test your understanding of concepts and edge cases and such. An argument can be made that if you have access to a compiler, a student can just try things until the compiler is happy, then try things until the results make sense, but not know why it works.

@Flan_BC At my level of experience any sort of sim seems like a lot to try and tackle, I'm aiming for something not much more complicated than an arcade game

Attempting to start a new game development project and spent an hour staring at the Unity asset store for inspiration trying to get my mind to latch onto something other than another tower defense game 🙃

@TaelurAlexis Even looking for internships it feels like companies already want me to be fluent in numerous different frameworks, database tools and types, and engineering concepts. It seems I already need to pigeonhole myself into a specialty to make it anywhere
