This such a naive take. The MLS owners spent $100’s of millions of dollars on their franchises. Why would you invest in a league where you could lose $10’s of millions overnight by being demoted?

High school soccer is the most grassroots thing in U.S. soccer. It's also the most ignored. If you love the game, check in on what's happening in your local high school program and check your preconceptions at the door.
