@adosiawolf@coc_space Over half of the 2.5M has been available to the community for nearly 6+ months. It was highlighted that we may have some gaps in marketing its availability, that does not mean that we have intentionally withheld any of it with malicious intent.
Hey DReps! Can we do a pulse check for OSC? (Paid Open Source Model - Continued)
We’ve had some great feedback and questions for a few of you, we joined @coc_space and answered some other questions. Unfortunately, there isn’t any change, and no additional feedback for us (OSC) to address.
If there is anything that we can share, please let us know! We are hopeful to have an opportunity to complete Year 1 and roll into Year 2 to demonstrate the intended perpetual nature of these programs. Thank you for your candor and more importantly, your participation!
Hi, We wish to apologize for causing you to feel unnecessarily overwhelmed. We’ve responded with comments and shared our GitBook that references our currently delivery.
Within the Intersect run, Cardano Budget Process for 2026, we faced a character limit for each section. As we are still currently within the “delivery window” with 2025 funding, it was agreed that our GitBook is still the best current reference, and that we would be happy to address any and all feedback from DReps.
It is important to note, as per a recent comment, nearly 2.5M ada is likely to be returned assuming no major applications for funding are received prior to September 2026. As identified in further comments, while we understand that returning funds may appear as ‘not needed’ we are asking to retain program budgets as they are targeted to be perpetual and gain adoption.
Our Developer Advocate and Travel & Events program are nearing completion and are fully documented. Bug Bounty and Incident management have pending reports (mostly aligned with set Milestone dates) and will be released soon, however it will likely be after the budget process concludes.
We appreciate your input, please feel no need to respond, we feel it is important to clarify and address any concerns that are/have been raised. Thank you!

Attending the @linuxfoundation Open Source Summit North America 2026 reinforced an important lesson:
People are ready to learn more about blockchain.
Across conversations with developers, maintainers, and open-source leaders, we found genuine curiosity about how blockchain can help address challenges around trust, coordination, reputation, incentives, and collaboration at scale.
What stood out was not skepticism, but thoughtful questions and a willingness to explore new approaches when connected to real-world problems.
The opportunity is significant. There is a large audience eager to understand what this technology makes possible. The key is continuing to engage, listen, and build bridges between communities.
@andamio_teams is proud to be part of that effort. Thanks to @IntersectMBO and the @Cardano_CF for supporting Cardano’s presence at this event, a truly leading-edge environment for innovation. Special thanks to @Tmacqt87 for his outstanding leadership in driving this trailblazing initiative forward and positioning Cardano in spaces where real-world collaboration and adoption are shaped.
@gimbalabs was proud to be represented at @linuxfoundation Open Source Summit North America by our Lead Educator and Facilitator Harsha Gullapalli @HarshaGulla, sharing perspectives from years of building technical education and developer onboarding pathways within the Cardano ecosystem.
The event created space for meaningful conversations with developers and open-source leaders from around the world, opening the door to new ideas, collaborations, and opportunities to connect broader open-source communities with the work happening across Cardano.
We're grateful to be part of a global conversation about how we make contribution, learning, and participation more accessible to everyone.
A special thank you to @IntersectMBO and the @Cardano_CF for supporting this initiative and helping create opportunities for the Cardano ecosystem to engage with the broader developer community. And congratulations to @Tmacqt87 for leading the way and move this initiative forward.
Hello DReps and Cardano Community,
The OSC has worked tirelessly over the weekend and today to present responses to feedback for our 'Paid Open Source Model - Continue' 2026+ Treasury Proposal. We invite additional feedback and remain ready for discussion.
Check out the Proposal and Comments: https://t.co/D4ib3vpeKR
Meet with us on Friday in the @coc_space!
DReps have asked, the OSC delivers. A Draft version of Milestones that would apply to 'Paid Open Source Model - Continued' have been added to the OSC GitBook page.
https://t.co/3mKBCCTD78
We encourage DRep and Community review of the proposed Milestones. As they are still in draft, they are subject to change based on actionable feedback and continued program delivery with Treasury funding awarded in 2025.
Confirmed! The Open Source Committee will join @coc_space this Friday June 5th, at 2pm UTC. Please bring your questions and feedback. Be sure to keep an eye on our posts throughout the week as we update our resources and respond to Hydra/Ekklesia Commentary.

Clarification: The Open Source Committee recognizes that even this resource may not be fully up to date. If you choose to adjust your rationale to address any 'missing' reporting, this will help us to expedite publication of new and relevant details. You can also check Meeting Minutes for updates that may not yet be present under each specific program. Thank you all for your service.
Not a DRep? Share this post, make sure your DRep sees it. Additionally, we welcome feedback from everyone, feel free to thread this post with action items for OSC!
@yutazzz Thanks for sharing the additional detail. We have found quite a few discrepancies and solid feedback within your rationale. We are hopeful to provide a response prior to your 6/2 consolidation.
