CachyOS decided to resolve the problem with Discord RPC in games on Linux.
Their latest custom version of Proton (Valve's tool for running Windows games on Linux) includes an automated solution to this problem through a bridge in the compatibility layer. While until recently you were forced to manually add the game process as a status in Discord, browsing through 30 other running background processes and then optionally fixing capitalization so the status would be assigned to the game, now you have it fully automated. These statuses should include custom data, e.g., about the lobby, just like Fortnite does on Windows.
Currently, to use this solution, you need to install the latest release of Proton-CachyOS and add the optional environment variable "PROTON_DISCORD_BRIDGE=1" to the game's launch options.
Nintendo has taken down more than 400 Nintendo Switch emulator repositories on GitHub in a single day.
The company sent seven DMCA notices, targeting projects such as Suyu, Skyline, Yuzu forks and other Switch emulators. Many of the repositories have now been removed.
Nintendo says these emulators bypass the Switch’s security and can be used to run unauthorized copies of its games.
