John McDonnell, one of the leaders of the left-wing of the Labor party helped the Ukrainian left and trade unions for many years.
I'm glad that now he has decided to be more vocal about his disagreement with Corbyn on Ukraine and arms supplies https://t.co/zf9RW3q434

Why do I put “anti-imperialists” in quotes? Because if these people were consistent, they would critique & oppose *all* imperialisms and stand in solidarity with the victims all imperial powers. But they decidedly do NOT. They have a US-centric focus on a single imperial power.
Various leftists & “anti-imperialists” promote an essentially Kissingerian worldview

Must-read discussion by Lausan with Chinese international student workers from the UC strike last year. Lots of important insights here, such as these observations about how the cultural and political contexts in China informed overseas workers’ organizing.
The 2022 UC Strike mobilized large numbers of Chinese international student workers, including many first-time organizers. Read @jnchien and @promiseli0's interview with rank-and-file Chinese graduate workers about their experiences during the strike: https://t.co/nKDxwYh9aF

My article on *Multipolarity, The Mantra Of Authoritarianism* in @TheIndiaForum - on the language of today’s global & Indian tyrants & bigots - language that the Left (inadvertently in most cases) validates & amplifies. https://t.co/m2XRvr1rzH
The essay tries to consider how recent academic engagements around ‘state capitalisms’ today (h/t @IliasAlami@imogentliu@DrAdam_Dixon et al) and role of asset management firms in structuring global capital accumulation can better inform socialist organizing—more to be explored!
Seeing things today as inter-imperialist rivalry or unipolar hegemony is not enough—I explore what I call “the multiple geographies of inter-imperial relations, with different cycles and layers of collaboration and competition, between different sectors of the ruling class.”
I wrote a long-form analysis for @JournalSpectre on how multipolarity today expresses an imperialist system marked by the growing power of institutional investors and mid-sized states, and uneven development of authoritarianisms—and how movements can fight back.
Revolutionary anti-imperialist struggles must remain vigilantly pluralist and anti-authoritarian, and see multipolarity without socialist democracy as merely another expression of imperialism, rather than its death knell. @promiseli0 https://t.co/ZonmNuZcMr
