Honored to have moderated the panel at the 3rd International Moon Day, when we explored the economic implication of lunar exploration. Distinguished guests from China, Germany, Japan and Saudi Arabia offered us a wealth of diverse insights! @NasrAlsahhaf@IntlMoonDay
Can you imagine walking on the moon and not getting a photo of yourself? All the moonwalk photos from Apollo 11 are of Buzz Aldrin, there are no photos of Neil Armstrong on the moon. Having only one camera, Neil took photos of Buzz. A great act of humility by Neil. Astronaut Alan Bean painted what Neil would have looked like on the moon, shown here. Alan used the reflection of Neil taking the photo from Buzz's helmet as a model. A great act of friendship by Alan.
#Apollo11 crew had to sign US customs' forms after returning from the moon on July 24, 1969, declaring that they brought moon dust & rock samples back. The declaration form was signed by crew members: Neil Armstrong, Edwin Aldrin & Michael Collins. https://t.co/c3jCbUQFcO
