seven years later, belle’s instinct wasn’t to talk about their achievements. she went back to the workshop, the late night shoots, the fears and dreams they both carried before any of this was certain. for me, she isn’t remembering donbelle as a phenomenon… she’s remembering what it was like to grow up inside it w someone special.

“my constant teammate, my confidant, my partner in every sense of the word” idk about you, but for me this line will linger forever. not because it’s dramatic, but because it’s the kind of thing you can only say after years of shared history, years of becoming witnesses to each other’s lives. years of knowing each other’s deepest thoughts. of seeing versions of one another that the rest of the world never will.

and i think that’s why belle’s visual letter feels so full of love. not just for her nato, not just for the fans she so tenderly calls home, but for the life they built together. it feels like she never asks us to look at what donbelle became, but to remember the people at the center of it, the ones who dreamed it, carried it, and stayed.

it won’t be easy, donny and belle… but you’re both worth it 🤍
