Recently a new meter from mescom in our apartment. We got 20K electricity bill for a month. Earlier average monthly bill used to be 6k .
We went to the mescom office to complain. They were not giving any proper response, and were like "itna to bill aata he hai ac chalane pr."

When you see such images of people drowning due to poor infrastructure, you really need to ask: where is your tax money going?

Poor infrastructure is plaguing almost all major cities: Delhi, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Gurugram, you name it!

There should be an impact assessment of taxes paid. We celebrate too quickly that 1000s of Kms of highways are getting built.

But, what's the point if the already built existing infrastructure itself can't be protected.
