On the night of March 7, a Russian missile struck a residential building, and one of the victims of the attack was Hordiy Udovychenko. He and his mother Olena were killed together.

Young Hordiy played for the hockey team “Bilyi Bars” (White Leopard). Here is how the team responded to the death of the young athlete:
“Hordiy was a sincere, kind, and open boy who loved hockey very much, as well as his team and training sessions. We remember his smile, his diligence on the ice, and the joy with which he came to every practice.”

Ukraine experiences unspeakable tragedy every day, and every day it loses its future.

The Ukrainian team has been banned from wearing uniforms featuring a map of Ukraine at the 2026 Paralympics. The IPC claims the map is "political."

At the same time, the Russian team includes former military personnel who participated in the illegal invasion. Russians are allowed to compete under their own flag, while Ukrainians are forbidden from showing their own territory.

What Kyiv endured last night, cannot be called anything but a deliberate act of terror. A sustained, 7 hour coordinated attack—over 550 drones and ballistic missiles launched onto the people of Kyiv, families running into metro stations, basements, underground parking garages, mass destruction in the heart of our capital.

Launched immediately following the call between Washington and Moscow, this was one of the most severe assaults of the entire war, a clear demonstration of how Moscow interprets diplomacy, intended purely as a message.
