My severely disabled brother (profoundly deaf, can't speak, limited mobility, learning difficulties) has just had his ESA cut without warning or explanation. How can this happen? I've written to the @DWPgovuk twice (no response on their phone line)

@DrFrancesRyan Amazing news: all sorted, missing money in Carl's account! @DWPgovuk press office saw my tweets, and escalated things. Just had a call from someone who apologised & said they've corrected the mistake. But what about vulnerable people who don't have family to fight for them???

@DrFrancesRyan He did fail a WCA a few years ago and we went to tribunal and won within about 2 mins of being in the room as it was clear immediately that Carl is not able to work. But we’ve heard nothing since then…

@DrFrancesRyan We don’t know why. We’ve received no information except a text asking us to call them (which Ive tried to do but no-one answers). He hasn’t been called for any assessments and there are no changes in circumstances. But the money has stopped coming into his account 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️
