peace has a certain seductive quality that makes it more powerful then even war. peace has the ability to convince even the most avid warmongers to give up on their most aggressive ambitions..............but there has to be enough of a consensus and enough peace to overwhelm such individuals with the common sense that such a peace would suggest.
world war three could have been avoided if costa rica with its peace had had enough help to accomplish that............but it didn't have enough help (so world war three cannot be avoided).
