The problem is even the superman movie while profitable made $618.7 million which might sound good until you account for the 225m budget plus another 9 figures for marketing. These movie budgets are insane.

Even people who say they enjoyed it said the villian was terrible and the narrative was disjointed it. The only thing holding the film together was her and Jason.
