🚨 TRIPLE CAPTAIN: HAALAND GW3 OR WAIT?
Before choosing the player, start with the defences we actually want to target.
After two GWs, four are on the radar:
Ipswich, Fulham, Hull and Coventry.
But for very different reasons 👇
#fpl
1️⃣ Erling Haaland 🇳🇴
📌 vs Coventry (H)
• Brace last week vs CRY.
• Comes off a 13-point haul against Crystal Palace
• 10 shots, 1.41 NPxG, 3 big chances
➡️ The obvious pick. Home fixture, elite goalscoring threat and the highest ceiling in FPL.

🔹️Four players.
🔹️One armband.

IS TZOLIS’ PLACE NOW UNDER THREAT? ⚠️
Tzolis’ minutes suddenly look a little less secure than they did before Villa
He was taken off at half time after being booked, although Arteta did not publicly attribute the substitution to the yellow card
His first-half numbers were poor too:
• 0 completed crosses
• 0 successful take-ons
• 0 passes into the penalty area
The bigger FPL concern was what happened after the break.
Eberechi Eze replaced him on the left, played the pass to Calafiori in the move for Saka’s winner and earned significant praise from Arteta afterwards.
Arteta said Eze “makes a difference” and revealed that he created three situations that nearly sent teammates through one on one.
With Eze making an immediate impact from the left, Tzolis’ expected minutes are now something FPL managers should monitor much more closely 👀
Tzolis owners, still comfortable holding, or has Eze changed the way you see the pick?

GW2 REVIEW: WHAT ACTUALLY MATTERS FOR FPL 📊
Two Gameweeks in, the sample is still small, but a few patterns are already starting to repeat.
Some results are flattering. Some blanks mean very little. And some underlying numbers are becoming difficult to ignore

WHAT WE LEARNED FROM GW2 AT THIS MOMENT
🔹 Bruno Fernandes is impossible to ignore. Hat-trick + assist in a 5-2 win. His involvement remains elite.
🔹 Don’t write off Chelsea assets after GW1. Chelsea have now scored 4 and won both games, although conceding 3 against Brighton is a warning for their defence.
🔹 Liverpool still have attacking potential. 2 goals against Forest, but another clean sheet disappeared.
🔹 Man City are back among the teams to target.
4 goals against Palace makes their attacking assets difficult to ignore, especially Cherki.
🔹 Defensive assets remain unpredictable. Chelsea conceded 3, Liverpool conceded 2 and Brighton scored 3 away from home.
👉 GW2 is giving us more information, but still not enough to completely rewrite your FPL plan.
📊 Collect the data. Don’t chase the points.

🔹️Roll your transfer if possible.
🔹️Give Man Utd another chance.
🔹️Prioritize Leeds players over. 🔹️Brentford players.
🔹️Captain: Bruno or Haaland.
🔹️Don't buy Ndiaye yet.
🔹️Don't chase last week's hauls.
🔹️Give Wirtz another chance. Keep an eye on his playing time against Nottingham Forest.

What do you mean you have a headache over who to bench?
Shouldn't you know who you want to start in Gameweek 2 before Gameweek 1 even begins?

GW1 is all about separating signal from noise.
Not every blank matters, and not every return changes the picture. The key is identifying which performances actually shift roles, minutes and FPL value

GW1 FPL Takeaways 📊
A lot of useful early signals from the opening Gameweek tactical trends, role changes, set-piece patterns and a few FPL spots worth monitoring

Opening day Takeaways 👀
Arsenal picked up with the same momentum they had last season and already looked comfortable adapting to the new rules playing much more effective game time and creating far more from open play, with 86% of their total xG coming from open-play situations.
Tzolis was one of the most dangerous players on the pitch, registering 3 shots inside the box, joint most with Saka.
Ødegaard also looked noticeably more advanced, getting into the box 5 times fewer only than Saka and Tzolis.
Coventry, meanwhile, struggled to defend in a low block, allowing 10 shots inside the box.
If that continues, it could become a serious problem against the stronger attacks. ( Man City in GW3 👀 )
