How Modi countered China in Nepal without any Army, or a single dollar spent in Nepal.

China had been pouring money into Nepal for years. Under the Belt and Road Initiative, large dams and hydro projects were being built in Nepal so that Beijing could increase its influence in India's neighborhood, and the plan was working.

Modi silently observed this till the design and the main structure of dams was completed.
Then the Modi government dropped a silent bomb in the electricity trade guidelines. The rule was simple: India would not buy even one watt of electricity from any project that used Chinese funding, construction, or equipment. Full stop.
