@InsiderSelling@TheOneLanceB@KillerT_ I don't think I was disrespectful. I was expressing how his actions can (reasonably) be viewed. As far as selling stuff, he does offer private consulting at $10k hour, Patreon sub, private dinner at $3k. All for the benefit of charity but still a charge nonetheless.
@TheOneLanceB@InsiderSelling@KillerT_ Every successful marketer knows one must build an audience first. And the best way to do that is create content that people believe they need and then create the buzz to get them to the content by saying something controversial or doing something outlandish. Ask Sykes, he knows.
@InsiderSelling@KillerT_@TheOneLanceB It appears that Lance wants to be a successful marketer and so he can learn tons from Sykes. Just like when Sykes smashed his fake laptop for clicks, Lance goes out on Twitter to challenge the futures FURUs providing "levels", but not the rest of the stock trading FURUs
@bootsiejones@AnthonyCrudele What this means is that market timing is an edge. And it can be, but it is very broad.... no different than saying I know how to buy low and sell high.
@Switterman I'm guilty of that too. A rule I have is if I lose on 3 trades in a row in the same direction and based on the same thesis, I disengage and reassess. It tells me I'm not aligned with the market.
@MissLowRisk None of the above are edges, but they are needed to execute a strategy that has positive expectancy. One must first find a strategy with positive expectancy and then work on all the things you've listed in order to execute the strategy to its full potential.
@DoubleWideCap@Mitten_Trades Aren't there only three scenarios (up, down, sideways)? Of course some days have a combination but hopefully one is able to lock in profits after a scenario plays out before reversing and morphing into another scenario
@maoxian From discord looks like you took the VFS trade. I passed. Was looking at $90 calls for $7.5 and short stk at $82.5. stop at $100 and target at 10 ma @ 47. R/R was 1:1 after hedge so I passed.
