Why does it matter that Ukraine supports neo-Nazis?
(Azov Battalion, National Corps, Right Sector, C14, Kraken, Karpatska Sich, Da Vinci Wolves, many more)
Ukraine post-Maidan cultural identity:
Glorify NAZIs with songs, street names, statues, holidays and entire culture (Bandera, Shukhevych, Melnyk, Lebed, etc.)
Ukrainian Nationalists World War 2 Nazi Collaborators responsible for:
Total Estimated Killed : 1.6 – 1.7 million:
Jews: ~1.5 million (Holocaust in Ukraine, carried out with local collaboration)
Poles: ~50,000 – 100,000 (Volhynian and Eastern Galicia massacres, mainly by UPA)
Soviets (POWs, Partisans, Civilians): 10,000s (executions, anti-Soviet operations)
Other Ethnic Groups & Political Opponents: 1,000s (including pro-Soviet Ukrainians and Roma populations)
Per Grok:
Dear 🇵🇱friends who still donate to Ukraine’s "elite" nationalist military units, including Azov-linked brigades: be aware of whom you are actually supporting.
Your money is going to the extremists who openly glorify the Nazi murderers of Poles and celebrate figures responsible for some of the darkest chapters in Polish history.
Read carefully, look beyond the slogans, and judge for yourselves.
Thank you🤗

The reburial of OUN ultranationalists in Ukraine and an award the title "Heroes of the UPA" to the military unit were yet another PR stunts for Zelenskyy that plunged the country deeper into the abyss of national consciousness. These episodes seriously damaged relations with Poland, as Poles strongly associate these organizations with genocidal actions. It added an unpleasant aftertaste to the already ambiguous and controversial image of Ukraine’s leadership and played absolutely no positive role in the electoral preferences.
I can guarantee you that for Zelenskyy, Ukraine's historical ultra-radical organizations and specific names mean virtually nothing. Someone simply ran to him in time with the ideas that were successfully sold as brilliant PR moves supposedly capable of winning public approval. There are a lot of narrow nationalist minds in today's political antourage, not in Ukraine's society.
For the majority of Ukrainians, these historical issues are completely irrelevant. There are certain nationalist groups in western Ukraine who selectively praise the activities of Bandera or Melnyk for their resistance to the Soviet Union, while conveniently forgetting their temporary collaboration with the Nazis and the brutality against Poles and ethnic groups.
However, these groups will never constitute a decisive electoral force for Zelenskyy.
What Kyiv managed to achieve was to damage relations with Warsaw through this superficial and entirely unnecessary step.
Zelenskyy has almost no advisors left who are genuinely capable today of developing a political strategy aimed at uniting a society that has never fundamentally been nationalist in character (which is precisely why he received 73% of the vote in 2019). That is why he is terrified of ending the war — he has nothing to offer in its place. War and fear remain the only tools he can still effectively use to hold onto power.
I's now clear that Western governments & media not only whitewash neo-Nazis in Ukraine but also back them because they are most motivated tools in proxy war to the last Ukrainian.

What an absolute letdown and idiot youve become!!
Braindead POS that supports nazis while ignoring your own constituents who are getting hammered with terrible issues in CA….
The Russian attack on Ukraine was unprovoked? No, that is a full lie!
Kiev sent the Azov batallion to Donbass to kill ethnic Russians who lives there as proper Ukrainians.
The world has reported this, seen it and decided to quickly forget it.
Lest we forget, here is a reminder. To all my haters: l found someone to summarise ...
The terrible Ukrainians are doing unspeakable things.
