@trvl8r @amelia_tweetz Why wouldn’t they let you pay out of pocket? If it doesn’t go thru your insurance they can’t say pharmacy can’t fill. I’ve done that a few times and had no issues. Actually it’s been cheaper to use something like good rx than insurance sometimes.

Uninsured ppl had to pay a tax penalty. Commercial rates went up and less services were covered. ACA was affordable to those who got subsidies only.
