@NotAmberBerries @BenH4cker I think the better question is why is it a flying wheelchair? The wheels are completely superfluous. Something akin to the Wildseed Cradle, one of my favorite mounts, would make more sense for a mage to use. It comes off as lazy worldbuilding to make it just a flying wheelchair.

@TyrenasAD @Warcraft Did you not watch today's cinematic? She says she became a paladin for revenge and not to satiate her mana addiction. It completely revises the Blood Knights' evils and their redemption. And their relationship still isn't quite the same as other paladins- it's more symbiotic.

@chaossica So to say that WoW wasn't a departure towards "disneyfication" or "pixarification" of the IP was always true, and I don't think the WoD model updates did anything to fight the allegations, but instead doubled down on them.

@chaossica But the reviewers were shortsighted that WoW's cartoony graphics (compared to both WC3 and EQ2) were what made the game playable on most PCs in 2004. The hyperbole I saw in 2009 was that WoW succeeded because "an Atari can run WoW." More compatible PCs = more players.
