Halfway through Bristol Sounds 24 and the weather is certainly playing ball. Makes the noise monitoring a sight more pleasant! Placebo this eve, let's be having you then.

A creative day for @IonAcoustics making a mighty fine tapas lunch up at cookingit in Bristol. And eating it too of course. Team building, big feeding. Gracias Monica, Eva and Ella.
Our second session of the day includes a discussion on Clean Energy Solutions.
Speakers include Louise Beamish and Toby Lewis from WSP and Gavin Irvine from Ion Acoustics.
Our Gavin Irvine preparing to present at the @TheANC73 50th anniversary conference. He'll be telling us all about challenges of noise modelling battery and solar schemes. Go gavin..
It must be that time of year again. Bristol harbourside buzzing in the sun this evening for the start of Bristol Sounds 23. And we're on hand as usual to help keep the levels just right.
Looks like one of our projects, South Kyle Wind Farm, is being put to good use. Not, just the apparent £38M to community projects and all that lovely renewable electricity, but keeping the Irn Bru girder repurposing plant running!

Gloucester’s great Cloister with its magnificent fan vaulting, is believed to be the earliest example in England. Originally built to house the monks, providing space for them to live, work and meditate.

@uniofbrighton @FBMArchitects @Arch_Today Great to see this project of ours, Cockcroft Building, from a while back being awarded for standing the test of time! A worthy metric I feel.
We've won!! 🏆
The refurbishment of Cockroft Building, at the heart of our Moulsecoomb campus, has triumphed at the inaugural @Arch_Today awards for buildings that stand the test of time

Doorway! I love these first site visits to semi derelict buildings that have had some "visitors" since they were last occupied. Possible that this one was painted by a film crew tbh, but nevertheless. Exciting new project this one.
