What a great way to kick off Space Week at the IOP! 🚀🪐
Yesterday, @IOPSpaceGroup hosted a discussion of the National Space Strategy with Dr Paul Bates, CEO of @spacegovuk who talked about the UK space economy, highlighting the accelerating growth of new SMEs and businesses within this sector.
This was followed by a panel discussion with Dr Sarah Beardsley Director of @RAL_Space_STFC, Doug Liddle Director of Space at @BAESystemsplc, Prof Mark Sims @uniofleicester, Ian Bishop Head of UK Space Agency Sponsorship at @scitechgovuk and @DrJoannaHart Director of the Space Partnership.
