I’ll keep it short about housing, but the LPC debate proved why Karina Gould is not the solution. Asked about housing and starts babbling on about climate change. Nobody had super great answers on solving the housing crisis, but @karinagould definitely had the worst one

Freelands answer was horrible about taking doctors back from the US. Why do you think they go there Chrystia? They get paid more and taxed less

Frank Baylis’ answer was also exceptional when asked about healthcare. With his experience, he’s the only one out of the 4 candidates who would be able to find problems in the system and maybe fix them

@EmmanuelMacron @cafreeland said that we had lacklustre recovery from 2008 and tried to blame harper. We got out better than almost any other country. I think she has officially proved its possible to have neither brains, beauty or brawn

LPC Debate: Topic - Young people are turning conservative. My opinions are below

@EmmanuelMacron Baylis acknowledged housing was a problem and his response was to invest in social housing which is honestly a great answer. Combine this with investing in post secondary institutions and increasing FHSA he clearly won this round

@karinagould focus on social issues was pathetic. Guys hear that? Apparently life magically gets more affordable once we fix homelessness. Liberal hopeful (whos never gonna win) Karina Gould said so!!!!!

Frank Baylis’ response on fixing Revenue Canada was perfect. A big part of why he should be tonights debate winner. When it came to answering productivity questions, he was by far the winner

@frankbaylis gave good and realistic examples of the policies and ideas he had. Unlike any other candidate. Carney gave a few I suppose, but a very disappointing night from Freeland and ESPECIALLY Karina Gould

To add to this regarding “how will you he different than Trudeau”, Freeland was asked twice. 1st time did not answer and 2nd time barely answered. Karina Gould did not answer despite being asked twice. The most pathetic candidate out there

LPC Debate: Spending - Freeland is in support of the irresponsible spending in govt. She thinks PCs are financially irresponsible when her government has been increasing the deficit for years. unrelated, I liked how Baylis gave the example about working to bankrupt Boeing.

Also to mention when asked again, goulds response was to top up the child and senior benefits. Gould wants everyone to be over reliant on the government. @karinagould why are you running for trudeau’s job. You would be better off with Jagmeet’s job with your unrealistic ideas

LPC Debate: Affordability. @cafreeland plans to cut taxes and increase childcare spots. Doing essentially nothing to make life more affordable. Still a better answer than @karinagould who gives no ideas besides a safety net and a UBI, just increasing the dependence on the govt.
