Doubt doesn’t mean you’ve lost your faith. Sometimes it’s where faith begins. This week’s Fortune Cookie Friday reflects on fear, courage, and a fortune that arrived at exactly the right time.🥠

Lost something (or someone) you love? This Fortune Cookie Friday says the sorrow of parting makes the joy of reunification even sweeter. Nothing loved is ever truly lost.

Today’s fortune: You are magnetic in your bearing. 🥠Sometimes we are drawn to people. It may be from their warmth, honesty, or positivity. Magnetic people do not chase attention; they attract it. Are you one of those people?
"There is only one success—to be able to live your life in your own way."
But what does that really mean? True purpose isn't just doing whatever we want—it's where autonomy meets service to others.

@RoadTo_2046@SunWeatherMan I know that. I am referring to last night's live stream (~27:26 mark) he says he doesn't know why the crust shifts back and forth every 12K years, as opposed to continuing to shift in the same direction. The Antarctic never ends up in the N pole region. https://t.co/0rXUWHAiTI
@RoadTo_2046@SunWeatherMan No, but it's not my area of expertise. I know there are multiple theories for crustal shift and direction, but Ben had no answer to the crust flipping back & forth as opposed to spinning each cycle. I looked outside the box before diving into mantle, Dzhanibekov Effect, etc.
Just reviewed If You Take Away the Otter by Buhrman-Deever & Trueman 🦦🌊 A stunning STEM picture book for ages 5–8—teaches ecology, Indigenous history & the vital role of otters. Essential for classrooms! #KidLit#STEM#BookReview#Otters#Education https://t.co/Q7mxinAzS8
Sometimes you get those fortunes that mean as much as a box full of Styrofoam peanuts. So now I am at an impasse: do I turn left, right, or simply sleep in?
What’s your move tomorrow?

@AshDeCode@libsoftiktok@HoustonISD One should start by asking why the publishers allowed these types of books to be marketed as children's books. They are the gatekeepers.
@jakonrath Stories have been told for eons to pass on information or teach a lesson. At some point, someone capitalized the system and held the words ransom. Now we have a whole industry around the written word. Why do you write? To make money or tell your story? Where is your happiness?
@john_zeleznik I started on one for YA as a duology, but it's third or fourth in line for finishing. That type of book doesn't appear to be top of the list right now, but will find its way back into the market like everything else.
“Prejudice is the child of ignorance.” 🥠
We aren’t born judging others—we learn it. I try to see each person as a new character in life’s book, waiting to be discovered. Anyone might be a hero in disguise. Their story could surprise you.

Fortune Cookie Friday:
‘The one who snores will always fall asleep first.’ 😴🥠
The snorer wins at sleeping… and losing at quiet. Who’s the champion in your bed ?😂 #FortuneCookieFriday#SleepHumor
@thomas_garrard It's been a while since I read the series. I enjoyed the premise when I read it, but it also made me a little uncomfortable. I guess I identify with the MC more than I thought. I don't think the movie did it justice.
“Be open to feedback; it’s a path to improvement.” 🥠
Today’s Fortune Cookie Friday is all about why feedback matters—and how to use it without losing confidence.
