In 2000, US Patent 6,047,712 issued to Owens-Illinios Closure, Inc. for this floss dispenser. The dispenser attached onto the toothpaste tube with the goal of being used with any kind of toothpaste, despite packaging. How innovative!

These #InventedInToledo refracting telescopic goggles allowed a user to adjust the lenses of each telescope to correct vision easily while automobile riding. Inventor Ira O. Denman was a Toledo native who also served as chief of staff at the Toledo Hospital from 1913 to 1915.

In 1921, US patent 1,397,511 issued to The Willys-Overland Co. for this "Windshield-Cleaner." The company was known for making Jeeps for military use. It was sold & renamed the Kaiser-Jeep Corporation, now a part of American Motors Corporation.

In 1973, US Patent 3,742,886 issued for this man-powered catamaran boat. The boat is designed so that the sailor operated the sail by hand and directed the boat by moving the feet to move a rudder attached to the back of the craft.
