These #InventedInToledo refracting telescopic goggles allowed a user to adjust the lenses of each telescope to correct vision easily while automobile riding. Inventor Ira O. Denman was a Toledo native who also served as chief of staff at the Toledo Hospital from 1913 to 1915.
In 1921, US patent 1,397,511 issued to The Willys-Overland Co. for this "Windshield-Cleaner." The company was known for making Jeeps for military use. It was sold & renamed the Kaiser-Jeep Corporation, now a part of American Motors Corporation.
