There’s so much to unpack from the Trump-Welker interview. The WH intended it as a communication tool — it became the opposite. When you put a president determined to twist reality in front of a reporter known for her professionalism and refusal to accept anything but facts, the strategy doesn’t just fail. It exposes the way the administration operates — all about manipulation and the belief that reality is whatever they say it is — until someone refuses to play along.

Last night they tested the UFC stage lighting at the White House. Check it out.
The People’s House is looking more like a Six Flags amusement park after dark. It’s embarrassing.
Petting animals in zoos or 'sanctuaries' is NOT conservation!! 😠
“A Legal Technicality Is Not Exoneration”
The Virginia Supreme Court recently overturned the remaining state convictions against Bhagavan "Doc" Antle, finding that the Virginia statute used by prosecutors prohibited the sale of endangered species, but did not specifically criminalize the purchase of those animals. As a result, the court dismissed the indictments tied to those charges.
But this ruling should not be confused with vindication.
Antle is currently serving a 12-month federal prison sentence after pleading guilty to a conspiracy to violate the Lacey Act and a money laundering conspiracy. Federal investigators uncovered evidence that Antle participated in the illegal trafficking of endangered wildlife, including baby chimpanzees, cheetahs, lions, and tigers—species protected under both the Endangered Species Act and international treaties.
According to federal prosecutors, Antle and his co-conspirators concealed wildlife transactions by disguising payments as "donations" to his nonprofit, the Rare Species Fund, conducting deals in cash, and creating false paperwork to hide the true nature of the transactions. Authorities described a system designed to profit from endangered animals while presenting itself to the public as conservation.
Federal prosecutors also established that Antle laundered more than $500,000 that he believed were proceeds from a human-smuggling operation transporting undocumented migrants across the U.S.-Mexico border. Evidence showed plans to conceal the money through checks disguised as payments for construction-related services connected to Myrtle Beach Safari.
As part of his federal sentence, Antle was ordered to pay a $55,000 fine, serve three years of supervised release, forfeit three chimpanzees, and surrender more than $197,000 to the government.
This case serves as a reminder that true conservation is about protecting animals—not buying, selling, trafficking, or exploiting them for profit.
Wildlife deserves better than to be treated as inventory in a business model built on public encounters and private transactions.
Wild animals are not commodities. They are not photo props. They are not entertainment.
Note: In an attempt to sidestep the “Big Cat Public Safety Act”, Doc Antle and crew have installed a transparent barrier that allows guests to pose next to an employee holding a tiger, lion, or leopard cub for photo-ops, without directly “touching” the cats.

Ukraine shot down Russian Kalibr cruise missiles. Then took them apart — board by board, component by component.
What Ukraine's Ministry of Defence @DefenceU found inside should be uncomfortable reading for Western regulators and sanctions enforcement agencies.

The US has called on Ukraine and Russia to immediately agree to a comprehensive ceasefire and move to peace negotiations.
Cool.
But has anyone told them who exactly keeps saying “no”?
Ukraine has proposed negotiations 500 times already.
Meanwhile, Russia keeps rambling about some delulu Anchorage meeting that Ukraine wasn’t even part of, while continuing to launch missiles and drones every single day.
So maybe the problem isn’t that nobody is offering peace.
Maybe the problem is that one side doesn’t want it.

In Mexico, a Russian woman has been evicted for not paying rent and is being deported. She asks Putin and the President of Mexico to assure she isn't sent into the filth and savagery of her home country.
The fact that Elon Musk’s father is actively carrying water for the Kremlin in Moscow is a national security blind spot for the United States and its allies.
Errol Musk is a heavily compromised liability, and his relationship with Russia leaves the West exposed to unprecedented blackmail and espionage risks.
Errol Musk has returned to Russia to praise the regime and enjoy his life on the Kremlin's terms. Given his dark history of abuse and scandals, Russian handlers have likely collected an arsenal of kompromat on him. The FSB does not hand out luxury treatment to foreign elites for free, since they expect a return on their investment, and Errol’s value lies entirely on who his son is (no matter if they are close or not).
This arrangement poses a direct threat to Western security. Elon Musk is a vital contractor for the US military, holding immense power over critical capabilities. He is also a volatile figure who frequently acts on impulse and exhibits highly questionable ideological stances. If Moscow decides to tighten the screws on Elon by exploiting his father, no one knows what will happen, making this entire situation deeply troubling. The US should never have put itself in this situation
A 62-year-old Russian Lieutenant General was blown up in his car in Russia this morning, Russian Telegram channels report.
His name has not been disclosed yet, but if his rank is right, this will be the fourth successful liquidation of a Russian officer of such a high rank in the Russian rear.
Head of Russian FSB has reported earlier that security around high-ranking Russian officers has been increased.
