My brother sent me a flyer in August. "Just apply," he said. So I did. No expectations. Just applied for applying sake.

September. An email. I had been selected. I was shook. I didn't even know what was ahead.

Showed up for the semifinal. First presentation of my life. Ever. Made it through somehow. Then came the final in October.

Light issues. Borrowed laptops. Quiet breakdowns. Loud appearances.

November came, I got awarded.
